ITSW 3rd Graders Explore Life Below Water in Wrocław!

Jan 10, 2025

From October 1st to 3rd, our 3rd graders embarked on an exciting Unit 14 trip to Wrocław, diving deep into the fascinating world of water while discovering the city’s rich culture and history. This hands-on experience is part of ITSW’s unique curriculum, which is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, giving students the opportunity to explore global topics in real-life contexts.

The adventure kicked off with a departure from Warsaw and arrival at Gem Hotel, followed by lunch to refuel. Students explored Hydropolis, an interactive exhibition dedicated to the science of water, before enjoying evening sports and activities organized by our teachers. In the following days, they studied water under microscopes at Odra Centrum, went on an educational boat trip along the Odra River, and even took part in a playful dwarf hunt around Wrocław. This trip combined science, adventure, and city exploration, offering our young learners unforgettable experiences that deepen their understanding of water, ecology, and sustainable living.
