ITSW Trilingual Primary School Class Schedule (grades 1–3)
At ITSW International School, language is a learning tool, not a separate subject. Therefore, a primary school can only function fully trilingually if academic content is taught in two or three languages. This requires a different daily structure, longer school hours, and a specific rhythm of classes tailored to the developmental needs of students.
What Does a Day Look Like in Grades 1–3 at ITSW?
To facilitate natural language immersion and the delivery of the academic curriculum in three languages, the school day at ITSW is longer than in monolingual schools.
The schedule is carefully planned to promote concentration, relaxation, and a balance between learning and physical activity.
During the day, students have:
- alternating subject blocks,
- sports and artistic activities,
- extended breaks, organized outdoors as often as possible.
Compulsory classes end at 5:00 PM, allowing for the full implementation of the trilingual curriculum.
Afternoon Extracurricular Activities (Workshops) in the Third Language of Instruction
5:00–6:30 p.m. — Optional Afternoon Workshops
After completing compulsory classes, ITSW offers a rich program of extracurricular activities. These are:
- free,
- conducted in the third language of education,
- focused on developing extracurricular artistic, athletic, linguistic, cultural, and social skills. .
The program is updated annually. Examples of activities include:
- art workshops,
- music classes,
- sports and creative activities,
- cultural projects,
- theater classes,
- interest groups related to the language of education.
Class Schedule for Grades 1–3
ITSW Elementary School is open 10 months a year (September–June), excluding public holidays.
During short holiday and after-school breaks from September to June, we offer themed after-school activities.
During July and August, the school is closed, but summer language programs—in Spanish, Polish, and English—are held in the facility available to children from ITSW and beyond.
