Student Progress Assessment and Examination Standards at ITSW
At ITSW, we closely monitor students’ academic progress to support their linguistic and academic development within a trilingual curriculum. We treat assessments, tests, and exams as tools for development, not ends in themselves.
Students complete various assessments that help measure language proficiency, comprehension, and readiness for further education. One of the exams is the eighth-grade exam, but at ITSW, it is just one element of the educational journey.
Unlike many local schools that begin intensive exam preparation in first grade, our approach combines high educational standards with personalized support including personalized psychological support. We offer, among other things, voluntary exam workshops and weekly language and math classes tailored to each student’s needs and level.
International Language Certificates of ITSW Students
The language proficiency level of ITSW students significantly exceeds the international average. To measure and validate their advanced language skills, our students take prestigious exams and certifications recognized worldwide.
Among the certifications used are:
- IGCSE English as a First Language – a Cambridge certificate for students who speak English as their native language,
- DELF / DALF – official French language certificates awarded by the French Ministry of Education,
- DELE Junior – a certificate from the Instituto Cervantes certifying the Spanish language proficiency of children and young people,
- HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) – an exam certifying academic proficiency in Chinese,
- JLTP Primary, globally recognized exam for assessing non-native Japanese proficiency
Thanks to a diverse grading system and international certifications, our students are not only multilingual but also formally prepared to continue their studies in any country in the world.
