Calling all ITSW students! Join the excitement of the ITSW Summer Contest and unleash your linguistic talents for a chance to win big!
AT ITSW, the one person one language method (OPOL) has been used as a strategy to immerse students in the trilingual system. Native teachers from all over the world speak solely their language of origin in order for the students to surround themselves with the mother tongue.
In the period of July 3 – 09 this year, four teachers had the opportunity to take part in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) training in Burgos, Spain. The workshop was organized as part of the eTwinning SeLFiE Project.
ITSW is hosting educational classes every Saturday for all Ukrainian children, currently staying in Warsaw, free of charge . They are classes from the integrated Ukrainian curriculum for grades 1 to 3 and language and literature for grades 4th to 8th. All classes are in Ukrainian.
Multilingualism has only advantages. Moreover, the advantages are visible on different levels. The use of more than one language, of course, allows for more effective communication.
